Abstract

Esta edición conmemorativa de la serie RED de CAF reflexiona sobre los avances y desafíos del desarrollo en América Latina y el Caribe durante las últimas décadas. A través de un análisis riguroso, se destacan logros significativos en inclusión social, salud, acceso a servicios básicos y estabilidad macroeconómica, al tiempo que se reconocen las persistentes barreras estructurales que limitan el crecimiento sostenido y equitativo. En un contexto de envejecimiento poblacional y doble transición —digital y verde—, el informe plantea una visión estratégica para transformar estos retos en oportunidades de desarrollo sostenible, aprovechando las ventajas comparativas de la región, como su biodiversidad, recursos naturales y potencial energético. Esta publicación celebra veinte años de conocimiento al servicio de un futuro más próspero, inclusivo y resiliente.
