Abstract

“The Occupational Safety and Health Act: Its Goals and Its Achievements†by Robert Stewart Smith argues that the safety and health mandate of the act is inconsistent with the promotion of the general welfare and that the government should not force on workers more safety and health than they would choose for themselves.
