Europäischer Flickenteppich: Wie Städte und Länder digitale Plattformen regulieren

Abstract

Digitale Plattformen wie Uber und Airbnb fordern die Transport- und Hotelindustrie heraus. Mit neuen Fahrdiensten und Übernachtungsangeboten stellen sie bestehende Regelwerke in Frage. Das Projekt „REGULATE: Recasting the Regulatory State?“ analysiert die Entstehung und Entwicklung von Plattformvorschriften in mehr als hundert europäischen Städten von 2014 bis 2022. Sichtbar sind gemeinsame Trends, aber auch signifikante Unterschiede zwischen Ost und West und innerhalb einzelner Länder. Und die erstaunliche Kreativität einzelner Städte.
