Abstract

Warum haben extreme Rechte in bestimmten Regionen solchen Erfolg? Liegt es an lokalen Problemen, an gezielter Mobilisierung, an schwachen Gegenkräften in Zivilgesellschaft und etablierten Parteien? Wer Antworten auf diese Fragen finden will, braucht ortsbezogene Daten über politische Aktivitäten, über Kriminalität und Gewalt. Genau diese Daten aber sind nur schwer und kaum systematisch zu bekommen. Katja Salomo berichtet von Behördenwissen, parlamentarischen Anfragen und zivilgesellschaftlicher Hartnäckigkeit.
