Abstract

Die Tradition reicht weit zurück: Das Mitspracherecht von Beschäftigten bei betrieblichen und unternehmerischen Belangen ist in Deutschland in Gesetzen verankert, die teils über 100 Jahre alt sind. Doch ebenso wie die Demokratie im gesellschaftlichen Bereich unter Druck steht, ist auch die Mitbestimmung in Unternehmen durch autoritäre Tendenzen gefährdet. Höchste Zeit zu fragen: Was leistet Mitbestimmung von Arbeitnehmer*innen? Was steht auf dem Spiel?
