Abstract

Es ist etwa 15 Jahre her, dass im indischen Mumbai, einer der am dichtesten besiedelten Städte der Welt, Uber und Co. auf den Plan traten. Neben Rikschas hatten bislang vor allem die schwarz-gelben Kaali Peeli, Taxis kleiner Unternehmen, die Mobilitätsbedürfnisse der Mittel- und Oberschichten bedient. In einer Feldstudie hat Tobias Kuttler beobachtet, welche Auswirkungen das Aufkommen der digital vermittelten Fahrdienste auf die Fahrer, die Nutzenden, den Verkehr und die Wirtschaft hat.
