Abstract

Die Schweiz macht es vor: Durch kluge Reformen hat dort die duale Berufsbildung hohe Attraktivität behalten, Jugendarbeitslosigkeit und Armut trotz Arbeit liegen auf niedrigem Niveau. In einer vergleichenden Studie haben die Autor*innen dieses Beitrags analysiert, welche Weichen die europäische Politik stellen muss, damit junge Menschen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt bestehen. Dabei geht es um mehr als die Sicherung des jeweils eigenen Lebensunterhalts: Berufliche Souveränität ist die Voraussetzung dafür, dass die junge Generation ihren Beitrag zum digitalen und ökologischen Wandel leisten kann.
