Auswertungen über Unternehmensgruppen im statistischen Unternehmensregister

Abstract

Der Beitrag stellt ausgewählte Auswertungen zu Unternehmensgruppen im statistischen Unternehmensregister dar und beschreibt anhand dieser verschiedene methodische Ansätze zur Erfassung ihrer Strukturen. Mit dem vor Kurzem erfolgten Ausbau der Datenbank des Unternehmensregisters für die Einheit Unternehmensgruppe und der Einführung der "Manuellen Unternehmensgruppenbearbeitung" als Qualitätssicherung wurden die Grundsteine für bessere Auswertungen zu Unternehmensgruppen gelegt. Der Fokus des Beitrags liegt auf der Darstellung der wirtschaftlichen Bedeutung von Unternehmensgruppen in Deutschland. Zudem thematisiert er die Aktivität von Unternehmensgruppen in den verschiedenen Wirtschaftsbereichen, die Herausforderungen bei der Beschreibung ihrer Aktivitäten sowie die Rolle der internationalen Verflechtung von Unternehmensgruppen.
