Abstract

Der Beitrag untersucht die Selbstinszenierungen und Deutungsmuster der weiblichen Wirtschaftselite. Die empirische Datengrundlage bilden aktuelle deutschsprachige Autobiographien erfolgreicher Spitzenmanagerinnen und Unternehmerinnen. Der Fokus liegt auf der Wirtschaftselite, da diese als finanzstärkste und mächtigste Elite gilt und damit sowohl eine starke symbolische Vorbildfunktion hat wie auch über großen gesellschaftlichen Einfluss verfügt. Basierend auf der Autobiographieanalyse rekonstruiert der vorliegende Beitrag, auf welche (Selbst-)Deutungen und Wissensrepertoires sich die Inhaberinnen von Spitzenpositionen beziehen, um die disparaten gesellschaftlichen Vorstellungen von Weiblichkeit und Führung zu bedienen.
