Abstract

Nie zuvor waren Erfolg und Zukunft des stationären Einzelhandels so vielen Einflüssen und unbeantworteten Fragestellungen unterworfen wie heute. Dazu zählen technologische Entwicklung, ein sich änderndes Konsumverhalten, neue Geschäftsmodelle im virtuellen und physischen Raum, eine globale Pandemie, fragile Logistikketten und ein Mangel an Waren und Rohstoffen – um nur einige Themen zu nennen. Wie wird also der physische Einzelhandel künftig aussehen? Was sind zu erwartende Änderungen und wie können Antworten darauf aussehen?
