Investitionsdynamik verläuft 2026 durchwachsen. Ergebnisse der WIFO-Investitionsbefragung vom Frühjahr 2026

Abstract

Die Ergebnisse der WIFO-Investitionsbefragung lassen für 2026 eine verhaltene Investitionstätigkeit erwarten. Der Iran-Krieg und die ausgeprägte geopolitische Unsicherheit haben die Konjunkturerholung gedämpft. Sachgütererzeuger planen mehrheitlich Kürzungen ihrer Investitionen, der Dienstleistungssektor insgesamt meldet eine Stagnation. Auf Branchenebene ist das Bild gemischt. Innerhalb der Sachgütererzeugung rechnen Hersteller von Investitionsgütern und Vorprodukten mit Kürzungen. In den Dienstleistungen überwiegen in den meisten Branchen die positiven Meldungen. Negativ entwickeln sich hingegen die investitionsstarken sonstigen wirtschaftlichen Dienstleistungen. Kleine und mittlere Unternehmen schränken ihre Investitionen im laufenden Jahr voraussichtlich ein, während Großunternehmen expansivere Pläne hegen. Die insgesamt schwache Investitionsdynamik ist Rückgängen in den Bereichen Ausrüstungen und Infrastruktur zuzuschreiben. Wie sich 2026 die realen Bruttoanlageinvestitionen in der österreichischen Gesamtwirtschaft entwickeln werden, ist derzeit nur schwer abschätzbar und vor allem vom weiteren Verlauf des Iran-Krieges abhängig.
