Abstract

Die Energiepreiseffekte des Iran-Krieges trübten zuletzt das Konjunkturklima in Österreich. Die Indikatoren des WIFO-Konjunkturtests verschlechterten sich im Quartalsvergleich. Besonders die Konjunkturerwartungen gaben deutlich nach. Die unternehmerische Unsicherheit nahm gegenüber Jänner zu und notierte auf überdurchschnittlichem Niveau. Die Kapazitätsauslastung verbesserte sich, blieb aber unterdurchschnittlich. Der "Mangel an Nachfrage" war auch im April 2026 in allen Wirtschaftsbereichen das meistgenannte Hemmnis der Geschäftstätigkeit.
