Europäisches Bauwesen vor moderatem Aufschwung. Euroconstruct-Prognose bis 2028

Abstract

1. Die europäische Bauwirtschaft durchlief 2024 (–1,7%) und 2025 (+0,3%) eine Schwächephase. Hohe Zinsen, die lebhafte Inflation und gestiegene Baukosten belasteten insbesondere den Wohnbau. Für 2026 erwartet das Euroconstruct-Netzwerk eine Erholung (+2,4%), die sich 2027 und 2028 fortsetzen dürfte. Der Tiefbau bleibt der wachstumsstärkste Sektor, getrieben von Investitionen in Energieinfrastruktur und Schienenverkehr. In Österreich zeigt sich ein ähnliches, jedoch verzögertes Muster: Die realen Bauinvestitionen schrumpften 2024 um 5,2% und 2025 um 0,8%. Für 2026 wird mit +0,2% erst eine Seitwärtsbewegung erwartet (2027/28 +1% p. a.). Die fiskalischen Konsolidierungsmaßnahmen belasten den Tiefbau ab 2026 zunehmend. Im Wohnbau zeichnet sich hingegen eine Stabilisierung ab (+0,5% nach –1,6% 2025).
