Konjunkturstimmung zu Jahresbeginn gedämpft. Ergebnisse der Quartalsbefragung des WIFO-Konjunkturtests vom Jänner 2024

Abstract

Die Ergebnisse des WIFO-Konjunkturtests vom Jänner zeigen weiterhin mehrheitlich skeptische Konjunktureinschätzungen. Besonders pessimistisch waren erneut Sachgütererzeuger. Die Kapazitätsauslastung stieg leicht an, blieb aber in der Bauwirtschaft und der Sachgütererzeugung weiter unterdurchschnittlich. In der Gesamtwirtschaft war wie bereits im Vorquartal der "Mangel an Nachfrage" das meistgenannte Hemmnis der Geschäftstätigkeit, vor dem "Mangel an Arbeitskräften". Die Verkaufspreiserwartungen legten wieder leicht zu und blieben in den Dienstleistungsbranchen und im Einzelhandel überdurchschnittlich.
