Unternehmensinvestitionen wachsen 2023 nur verhalten. Ergebnisse der WIFO-Investitionsbefragung vom Frühjahr 2023

Abstract

Die Ergebnisse der WIFO-Investitionsbefragung lassen für 2023 eine neuerliche Kürzung der Investitionspläne erwarten. Das Investitionswachstum dürfte sich dabei in der Sachgütererzeugung stärker abschwächen als im Dienstleistungssektor. Auf Branchenebene zeigt sich ein gemischtes Bild. Innerhalb der Sachgütererzeugung kürzen vor allem die Hersteller von dauerhaften Konsumgütern und Vorprodukten ihre Investitionen; in den Dienstleistungen sind es die freiberuflichen, wissenschaftlichen und technischen Dienstleister, die sonstigen wirtschaftlichen Dienstleister und Unternehmen im Grundstücks- und Wohnungswesen. Die Erbringer von Finanz- und Versicherungsdienstleistungen rechnen dagegen mit einem robusten Investitionswachstum. Großunternehmen schränken ihre Investitionen voraussichtlich weniger stark ein als kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU). Die Abschwächung des Investitionswachstums zeigt sich in sämtlichen Unterkategorien (Ausrüstungs-, Infrastruktur- und immaterielle Anlageinvestitionen). Für Österreichs Gesamtwirtschaft rechnet das WIFO für 2023 mit einer Stagnation der realen Bruttoanlageinvestitionen (0,0%).
