Europäische Wirtschafts- und Fiskalpolitik 2022/23. Große Herausforderungen durch Inflation und Energiekrise

Abstract

Im Jahr 2022 waren Wirtschaftsentwicklung und Wirtschaftspolitik in der EU primär durch den russischen Überfall auf die Ukraine im Februar 2022 und die damit verbundene Teuerungs- und Energiekrise geprägt. Die Phase der kräftigen Konjunkturerholung ging im Sommer zu Ende. Die Hauptthemen der europäischen Wirtschafts- und Fiskalpolitik waren die Reaktion der Geldpolitik auf die sich seit Ende 2021 beschleunigende Inflation, Maßnahmen auf nationaler und EU-Ebene zur Bewältigung von Inflation und Energiekrise sowie zur Sicherstellung von Energiesicherheit und unabhängigkeit, der Ausbau der CO2-Bepreisung auf EU-Ebene und die Zukunft der europäischen Fiskalregeln.
