Deutliche Erholung der Investitionen der Sachgütererzeugung von der COVID-19-Krise. Ergebnisse des WIFO-Investitionstests vom Frühjahr 2021

Abstract

Nach dem Einbruch infolge der COVID-19-Pandemie dürfte sich die heimische Investitionstätigkeit 2021 kräftig erholen. Eine Hochschätzung anhand der Angaben der im WIFO-Investitionstest erfassten Unternehmen ergibt für 2021 in der Sachgütererzeugung insgesamt einen Anstieg der Investitionen um 22,0% gegenüber dem Vorjahr (real). Insbesondere große Unternehmen planen eine Ausweitung ihrer Investitionen, während kleine und mittelgroße Betriebe diese nur leicht steigern wollen. Vor allem die Hersteller von Industriegütern sowie lang- und kurzlebigen Konsumgütern werden ihre Investitionen erhöhen, in der Kraftfahrzeugbranche werden sie dagegen nur geringfügig höher ausfallen als 2020. Für Österreichs Gesamtwirtschaft rechnet das WIFO 2021 mit einem realen Anstieg der Bruttoanlageinvestitionen um 6,9%.
