Kräftiger Konjunkturaufschwung in Österreich. Prognose für 2021 und 2022

Abstract

Weltweit haben sich die wirtschaftlichen Aussichten seit der letzten Prognose deutlich verbessert. Dies hat auch Folgen für die erwartete Erholung in Österreich. Vorlaufindikatoren deuten auf den Beginn einer Hochkonjunkturphase, die 2021 vorwiegend von der günstigen Industriekonjunktur getragen wird. 2022 wird der Tourismus überproportional zum heimischen Wirtschaftswachstum beitragen. Nach dem Rückgang im Vorjahr (–6,3%) erwartet das WIFO für 2021 und 2022 ein reales BIP-Wachstum von 4% bzw. 5%.
