2020 Einbruch der Investitionen der Sachgütererzeugung – 2021 leichte Erholung erwartet. Ergebnisse des WIFO-Investitionstests vom Herbst 2020

Abstract

Die Hochschätzung der Meldungen der Sachgütererzeuger im WIFO-Investitionstest ergibt für 2021 insgesamt eine Steigerung der realen Investitionen um 4,8% gegenüber 2020, als die Investitionen aufgrund der COVID-19-Krise um 15,9% einbrachen. Großunternehmen kürzten ihre Investitionen deutlicher als kleine und mittelgroße Betriebe, die auch für 2021 eine stärkere Ausweitung ihrer Investitionen planen. Der Rückgang 2020 ging insbesondere auf die Hersteller von Investitionsgütern und dauerhaften Konsumgütern zurück, wogegen der Anstieg 2021 voraussichtlich durch Produzenten von nichtdauerhaften Konsumgütern und Gebrauchsgütern getrieben wird. Für Österreichs Gesamtwirtschaft rechnet das WIFO 2021 mit einem realen Anstieg der Bruttoanlageinvestitionen um 4,5%, der durch die Investitionsprämie unterstützt wird.
