Europäisches Bauwesen in der Abschwungphase. Euroconstruct-Prognose bis 2022

Abstract

Der Rückgang der Wachstumsraten in der europäischen Bauwirtschaft hielt auch 2019 an. Von 3,2% in 2018 sank das reale Wachstum des Bauvolumens 2019 auf 2,3%. Die Abschwächung folgte im Wesentlichen dem gesamtwirtschaftlichen Abwärtstrend, wenngleich auf etwas höherem Niveau bzw. mit Verzögerung. Mit der Verlangsamung der Expansion verringerten sich auch die Unterschiede zwischen der Entwicklung nach Regionen und Sektoren. Für die kommenden Jahre prognostiziert das Forschungsnetzwerk Euroconstruct zwar weiterhin eine Steigerung der Wertschöpfung, sie erreicht aber nur knapp über 1%. Dem entspricht großteils auch die Situation im österreichischen Bauwesen, das sich 2019 jedoch noch deutlicher überdurchschnittlich entwickelte.
