Starke Welthandelsimpulse beflügeln die Konjunktur in Österreich. Prognose für 2017 und 2018

Abstract

Die von Ostasien ausgehende Beschleunigung des Welthandelswachstums erreichte heuer Österreich. Die heimische Ausfuhr profitiert zudem von der Lösung des Investitionsstaus in Ostmitteleuropa. 2018 dürften die außenwirtschaftlichen Impulse etwas nachlassen, der private Verbrauch wird die Konjunktur weiterhin stützen. Trotz eines prognostizierten Wirtschaftswachstums von 2,4% 2017 (arbeitstagsbereinigt +2,6%) und 2,0% 2018 bleibt die Arbeitslosigkeit relativ hoch, da viele Stellen nicht mit Arbeitsuchenden in Österreich besetzt werden. Das Budgetdefizit nimmt heuer deutlich ab, die Fiskalpolitik ist einnahmenseitig aber noch expansiv ausgerichtet.
