Starke Konsumnachfrage stützt heimische Wirtschaft. Die österreichische Wirtschaft 2016

Abstract

Das Wirtschaftswachstum beschleunigte sich in Österreich 2016 weiter auf 1,5%. Es wurde durch die starke Konsumnachfrage und die Ausweitung der Investitionen getragen. Vor dem Hintergrund der internationalen Konjunkturschwäche entwickelten sich die Exporte schleppend. Sachgütererzeugung und Bauwirtschaft verzeichneten eine günstige Konjunktur. Positive Impulse kamen auch von Handel und Tourismus. Wie 2015 betrug die Inflationsrate 0,9%. Mit der guten Konjunktur wurde auch die Beschäftigung ausgeweitet. Aufgrund der neuerlichen Zunahme des Arbeitskräfteangebotes sank jedoch die Arbeitslosigkeit nicht, die Arbeitslosenquote lag konstant bei 9,1%.
