Europäische Bauwirtschaft wächst langsamer und mit zunehmender Unsicherheit

Abstract

Der Aufschwung der europäischen Baukonjunktur setzte sich nach 2015 auch im Jahr 2016 fort, doch deuten sich erste Eintrübungen an. Durch die Verlangsamung des Welthandelswachstums verschlechtern sich einerseits die wirtschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen. Andererseits ist die politische Situation (Verunsicherung in der EU wegen des geplanten Austritts Großbritanniens) einer deutlichen Konjunkturerholung abträglich. Vor diesem Hintergrund entwickelte sich das Bauwesen in Europa 2016 ungünstiger als erwartet, das Bauvolumen wuchs in den 19 Ländern des Bauforschungsnetzwerkes Euroconstruct um nur 2,0%. Der Ausblick für die Jahre 2017 bis 2019 bleibt positiv, die Expansion dürfte aber 2% nur wenig überschreiten.
