Internationale Konjunktur weiterhin schwach

Abstract

In den Schwellenländern hält die Wachstumsschwäche an, und auch in den USA expandierte die Wirtschaft im 1. Halbjahr 2016 verlangsamt. In der EU flachte die Entwicklung zwar nach dem schwungvollen Jahresbeginn ab, blieb jedoch auf Wachstumskurs. Das Brexit-Votum in Großbritannien verunsicherte kurzfristig die Finanzmärkte und die Unternehmen. In Österreich belastet die internationale Konjunkturschwäche nach wie vor die Exportwirtschaft, aber kräftige Wachstumsimpulse kommen weiterhin von der Ausweitung der Binnennachfrage.
