Abstract

Das Wachstum des österreichischen BIP beschleunigte sich im II. Quartal etwas auf 0,3% gegenüber der Vorperiode. Die gesamtwirtschaftliche Nachfrage aus dem In- und Ausland verlieh der heimischen Konjunktur neuerlich keine wesentlichen Impulse. Vor allem die anhaltende Investitionsschwäche prägte die Wirtschaftsentwicklung in Österreich auch im 1. Halbjahr. Die vorausschauenden Wirtschaftsindikatoren lassen für die nächsten Monate im Wesentlichen eine Fortsetzung der verhaltenen Erholung erwarten.
