Zweite Jahreshälfte 2014 geprägt von Stagnation der österreichischen Wirtschaft

Abstract

Die Weltwirtschaft entwickelt sich zwar uneinheitlich, jedoch erwies sich die Konjunktur zuletzt vor allem in großen Volkswirtschaften wie den USA und Großbritannien als robust. Im Euro-Raum war die Dynamik dagegen verhalten. Die österreichische Wirtschaft stagnierte im 2. Halbjahr 2014. Aufgrund der etwas günstigeren Konjunkturlage im Frühjahr sowie eines Wachstumsüberhanges aus dem Jahr 2013 ergibt sich für das Jahr 2014 insgesamt ein Anstieg des BIP von 0,3%. Das Bild der Vorlaufindikatoren ist weiterhin trüb. Vor diesem Hintergrund dürfte trotz der aktuell vorteilhaften Entwicklung der Rohölpreise und des schwächeren Euro-Kurses auch das I. Quartal 2015 von einem trägen Konjunkturverlauf geprägt sein.
