Abstract

2013 expandierte die heimische Wirtschaft um nur 0,4%. Dies war die schwächste Entwicklung seit der Rezession 2008/09, als die gesamtwirtschaftliche Produktion um 3,8% geschrumpft war. Sowohl das Investitionsvolumen als auch der Konsum der privaten Haushalte verringerten sich in realer Rechnung. Die Arbeitslosenquote stieg kräftig und erreichte mit 7,6% einen neuen Höchstwert. Die Inflationsrate verringerte sich, blieb jedoch im europäischen Vergleich relativ hoch.
