Wettbewerbsmonitoring im Spannungsfeld zwischen ökonomischen Gestaltungmöglichkeiten und wettbewerbspolitischen Erwartungen

Abstract

International gewinnen proaktive Methoden in der Wettbewerbspolitik zunehmend an Bedeutung. Österreich trug dieser Entwicklung mit der Einführung eines Wettbewerbsmonitorings Rechnung. Hinsichtlich der Ausgestaltung dieses neuen Instruments des österreichischen Wettbewerbsrechtes empfiehlt das WIFO die Orientierung am Wettbewerbsindex der niederländischen Wettbewerbsbehörde, der als internationale Best Practice für ein quantitatives Wettbe¬werbsmonitoring identifiziert wurde.
