Mittelfristige Beschäftigungsprognose für Österreich. Entwicklung nach Berufen und Branchen bis 2016

Abstract

Die österreichische Berufslandschaft ist einem ständigen Wandel unterworfen, der durch Veränderungen der Branchenstruktur (zunehmende Dienstleistungsorientierung), aber auch der Tätigkeitsprofile innerhalb einzelner Branchen (Trend zu höherqualifizierten Tätigkeiten) geprägt wird. Um den dadurch entstehenden Anpassungsbedarf der Qualifikationsstruktur der Beschäftigten antizipieren zu können, wird im Rahmen der mittelfristigen Beschäftigungsprognose die zu erwartende Veränderung der Nachfrage nach bestimmten beruflichen Qualifikationen ermittelt. In der mittelfristigen Beschäftigungsprognose werden diese Veränderungen disaggregiert nach 38 Branchen und 57 Berufsgruppen geschätzt. Demnach besteht ein Trend zu höheren Qualifikationsanforderungen sowie zu einer zunehmenden Dienstleistungs- und Kundenorientierung der Tätigkeiten. Einfache Tätigkeiten im produzierenden Bereich werden weniger nachgefragt, während die Beschäftigung von Dienstleistungshilfskräften durch ein überdurchschnittliches Wachstum vieler Dienstleistungsbranchen leicht zunehmen wird.
