Abstract

Das WIFO koordiniert das integrative Forschungsprojekt "Welfare, Wealth and Work for Europe – WWWforEurope", das von der Europäischen Kommission im Rahmen des 7. EU-Forschungsrahmenprogramms finanziert wird und an dem 33 Partnerinstitutionen aus 12 EU-Ländern beteiligt sind. In diesem Projekt, das eine Laufzeit von vier Jahren hat (April 2012 bis März 2016), sollen die analytischen Grundlagen für eine neue Entwicklungsstrategie für Europa erarbeitet werden: eine Wachstumsstrategie, die dynamischer, sozial inklusiver und ökologisch nachhaltiger ist als die derzeitige Wachstumsstrategie der EU.
