Stabile Entwicklung der heimischen Wirtschaft trotz anhaltender Schuldenkrise

Abstract

Die Erholung der Weltwirtschaft hielt im Frühjahr an, war jedoch sehr fragil. Die zentralen Risiken stammen zum einen aus geopolitischen Spannungen, die eine neue Erdölpreishausse auslösen könnten, zum anderen aus der Staatsschuldenkrise im Euro-Raum. Darüber hinaus trägt die strikte Konsolidierungspolitik im Euro-Raum wesentlich zu den verhaltenen Konjunkturaussichten bei. Für die heimische Wirtschaft ist der Ausblick günstiger. Zum einen verringerten sich die Finanzmarktrisiken vor allem in den letzten Monaten – sowohl die Sekundärmarktrendite für österreichische Staatsanleihen als auch die Zinssätze für Unternehmenskredite sanken im März abermals. Zum anderen stieg die Beschäftigung auch im April markant.
