Österreichs Wirtschaft im Jahr 2011: Erholung verstärkt sich

Abstract

Die heimische Wirtschaft wuchs 2011 um 3,1% und damit stärker als 2010. Die Erholung nach der Wirtschaftskrise der Jahre 2008/09 verstärkte sich damit. Die treibenden Faktoren der Expansion waren die lebhafte außenwirtschaftliche Entwicklung und die rege Nachfrage nach Investitionsgütern. Allerdings war im Jahresverlauf eine schrittweise Abflachung der Dynamik zu beobachten, im IV. Quartal schrumpfte die Wirtschaft bereits. Die anhaltende Rohstoffpreishausse ließen die Inflationsrate auf 3,3% steigen und damit auf den höchsten Wert seit fast 20 Jahren.
