Exportindustrie wächst kräftig, Energieverteuerung bremst die Konjunktur

Abstract

Das BIP stieg im IV. Quartal 2010 gegenüber dem Vorquartal real um 0,8% und gegenüber dem Vorjahr um 2,7%. Insgesamt ergab sich für 2010 ein Wirtschaftswachstum von 2%. Die Konjunkturerholung wird weiterhin primär vom Export und der Sachgütererzeugung getragen. Allmählich beleben sich auch die Ausrüstungsinvestitionen, hingegen verharrt die Bauwirtschaft in der Rezession. Die Konsumnachfrage der privaten Haushalte nahm auch während der Rezession 2008/09 zu und trug damit wesentlich zur Stabilisierung der Konjunktur bei; nun setzt sich ihr mäßiges Wachstum fort. Auf dem Arbeitsmarkt ist ebenfalls eine weitere Erholung zu verzeichnen. Die Zahl der Arbeitslosen verringerte sich gegenüber dem Höchstwert um 31.000, sodass die Hälfte der rezessionsbedingten Zunahme wettgemacht wurde. Der Anstieg der Notierungen für Rohstoffe auf den Weltmärkten (Erdöl, agrarische Rohstoffe, Metalle) schlägt bereits merklich auf die Verbraucherebene durch: Im Jänner erreichte die Inflationsrate 2,4%.
