Auch Österreich von der internationalen Wirtschaftskrise stark getroffen. Prognose für 2009 und 2010

Abstract

Die weltweite Wirtschaftskrise beeinträchtigt besonders die Wirtschaftsentwicklung in der EU. Auch in Österreich wird das BIP daher heuer deutlich sinken (–2,2%). Während Export und Investitionen einbrechen, wird der Konsum dank wirtschaftspolitischer Maßnahmen leicht ausgeweitet. 2009 ist mit Beschäftigungseinbußen und einem kräftigen Anstieg der Arbeitslosigkeit zu rechnen. Im Jahr 2010 sollte die heimische Wirtschaft in der Folge internationaler Konjunkturbelebungsmaßnahmen wieder leicht wachsen (+0,5%).
