Internationale Abschwächung belastet Konjunktur in Österreich

Abstract

Vor dem Hintergrund der internationalen Konjunkturabschwächung verliert auch die österreichische Wirtschaft an Dynamik. Nachdem sie bereits im II. Quartal 2008 (real +0,4% gegenüber der Vorperiode) schwächer als in den Quartalen zuvor expandiert hat, deuten die Ergebnisse des aktuellen WIFO-Konjunkturtests auf eine weitere Dämpfung der Industriekonjunktur hin. Der Überhang der Unternehmen, welche ihre Auftragslage als unzureichend einstufen, nahm weiter zu, die Einschätzung der künftigen Entwicklung verschlechterte sich deutlich. Impulse kommen von der Bauwirtschaft, welche zur Zeit eine stabile Stütze der Wirtschaft ist.
