Konjunktur klingt in Österreich langsam ab

Abstract

Obwohl die Dynamik des Wirtschaftswachstums in Österreich im Laufe des Jahres 2007 nachließ, expandierte die heimische Wirtschaft bis Jahresende schwungvoll. Im IV. Quartal 2007 nahm das um Saison- und Arbeitstagseffekte bereinigte BIP gegenüber der Vorperiode real um 0,6% zu. Während die Unternehmen ihre aktuelle Geschäftslage noch recht günstig beurteilen, sehen sie die weitere Entwicklung zunehmend pessimistisch. Eine ähnliche Tendenz ist in Deutschland und im gesamten Euro-Raum zu beobachten. Der anhaltende Wertzuwachs des Euro droht die europäische Exportwirtschaft zu beeinträchtigen. Steigende Rohölnotierungen und die erhebliche Verteuerung von Agrarprodukten heizen international die Inflation an.
