Kräftiges Wachstum der Weltwirtschaft schwächt sich ab. Prognose der internationalen Konjunktur für 2008

Abstract

Aufgrund der Immobilienkrise in den USA und der daraus folgenden Turbulenzen auf den internationalen Finanzmärkten dürfte sich das Wachstum der weltweiten Produktion verlangsamen. Der deutlichen Abschwächung der Konjunktur in den USA steht dabei eine anhaltend gute Entwicklung in den asiatischen Schwellenländern, insbesondere in China und Indien gegenüber. Im Euro-Raum wird das Wachstum durch die verhaltene Binnennachfrage und die markante Aufwertung des Euro zusätzlich gebremst.
