Konjunktur 2005 regional relativ ausgeglichen

Abstract

Im Jahr 2005 verlief die Konjunktur regional besonders ausgeglichen, weil von der Sachgütererzeugung relativ wenig divergierende Einflüsse ausgingen. Geringfügig über dem Österreich-Durchschnitt (+2,2%; Stand Ende April 2006) nahm die Bruttowertschöpfung in Südösterreich zu (+2,4%), während sie in Ostösterreich um 0,2 Prozentpunkte darunter blieb. In Westösterreich entsprach das Wirtschaftswachstum dem Österreich-Durchschnitt. In einigen Bundesländern wich die Entwicklung davon allerdings etwas ab: Die Westregion wies mit Vorarlberg (+2,7%) das expansivste und mit Salzburg (+1,9%) das Bundesland mit dem schwächsten Wachstum in Österreich auf. Die Beschäftigungszunahme wurde vor allem von der Arbeitskräftenachfrage der Dienstleistungen geprägt. Das Arbeitskräfteangebot nahm in Bundesländern mit höherem Beschäftigungswachstum tendenziell rascher zu. Dadurch ging die Arbeitslosigkeit nur in Wien etwas zurück, während sie im Westen Österreichs am stärksten stieg (ausgenommen Salzburg).
