Gebremstes Wachstum der europäischen Bauwirtschaft 2005 bis 2007

Abstract

In den 19 europäischen Ländern, die im Forschungsnetzwerk "Euroconstruct" zusammenarbeiten, nahm die Bauproduktion 2004 um 2,0% zu; gemäß den Prognosen der Forschungsinstitute wird sich das Wachstum heuer auf +1,9%, 2006 auf +1,5% und 2007 auf +1,4% verlangsamen. Im Gegensatz dazu erholt sich die Gesamtwirtschaft in den nächsten drei Jahren zunehmend. Während die Bauwirtschaft in Westeuropa im Prognosezeitraum an Dynamik verliert, wächst sie in Ost-Mitteleuropa kräftig. In Österreich wird 2005 mit +1,5% (laut WIFO-Prognose vom Dezember 2004 +1,7%) eine gleich hohe Steigerungsrate wie im Durchschnitt der westeuropäischen Länder erwartet; 2006 bis 2007 wird die Zunahme aber mit rund +2% etwas höher sein, insbesondere wegen des beschleunigten Ausbaus der Verkehrsinfrastruktur an den Verbindungen zu den neuen EU-Ländern.
