Schwierigkeiten und Hindernisse für die Erschließung neuer Exportmärkte. Ergebnisse einer Unternehmensbefragung

Abstract

Der Aufbau neuer Märkte für den Export wird durch zahlreiche Hindernisse erschwert. Die Befragung von Unternehmen zeigt, dass Transportkosten, die zu geringe Unternehmensgröße, zu niedrige Absatzpreise, die Rechtsunsicherheit, ein zu hohes Zahlungsausfallsrisiko, für kleine und exportunerfahrene Unternehmen aber vor allem der Mangel an Ansprechpartnern sowie teilweise an Informationen über den Zielmarkt zu den wichtigsten Hemmnissen zählen. Gleichzeitig sind nur die größten Unternehmen an einer Erschließung von weiter entfernten Märkten in Nord- und Lateinamerika oder Fernost interessiert; kleinere Unternehmen orientieren sich dagegen stark auf die Nachbarstaaten in Ost-Mitteleuropa und auf Kroatien.
