Nur leichte Erholung der Bautätigkeit in Europa 2004 und 2005

Abstract

2003 entwickelte sich die Bauwirtschaft in Europa aufgrund der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen sehr schwach. In Westeuropa dürfte die Bauproduktion nach der Prognose des europäischen Forschungsnetzwerkes "Euroconstruct" um 0,2% geringer ausgefallen sein als 2002. Eine Trendwende zeichnet sich 2004 ab mit nur mäßigen Wachstumsraten von 0,8% 2004 und 1,3% 2005. Erst 2006 wird die westeuropäische Bauwirtschaft mit 2,0% ähnlich stark expandieren wie Ende der neunziger Jahre. In Osteuropa dürfte die seit 2001 anhaltende Rezession des Sektors Ende 2003 (–0,6%) überwunden worden sein, ab 2004 ist eine dynamische Steigerung zu erwarten (2004 +4,3%, 2005 +8,5%, 2006 +9,2%); vor allem in Ungarn und Polen zeichnet sich eine günstige Entwicklung ab. In Österreich expandierte die Bauwirtschaft bereits 2003 um 1,7%, primär dank der Belebung der Infrastrukturaufträge, aber auch der Wohnbautätigkeit; die Prognosen für 2004 bis 2006 liegen bei rund +2% pro Jahr.
