Abstract

Die Konjunktur leidet weiter unter Nachfragemangel, eine Erholung zeichnet sich nicht ab. Seit Jahresbeginn werden die Impulse von der Exportnachfrage schwächer, die bislang die wichtigste Konjunkturstütze bildete. Dies spiegelt die ungünstige Nachfragesituation bei wichtigen Handelspartnern und die Abwertung des Dollars gegenüber dem Euro wider. Die Sachgüterproduktion stagniert, der Investitionsattentismus der Unternehmen hält an. Etwas günstiger entwickeln sich die Umsätze im Handel und die Bauinvestitionen. Die effektive Aufwertung des Euro dämpft auch die Inflation. Die Lage auf dem Arbeitsmarkt bleibt schwierig. Im Produktionsbereich geht die Beschäftigung weiter zurück, private und öffentliche Dienstleistungsanbieter melden steigende Beschäftigung. Oft betrifft dies Teilzeitarbeitsplätze bzw. die Teilnahme an Schulungsmaßnahmen.
