Deutlichere Anzeichen für eine Konjunkturerholung

Abstract

Seit dem Frühherbst haben sich die Anzeichen für eine Verbesserung des Konjunkturklimas verstärkt. Die Unternehmen der Sachgütererzeugung melden im WIFO-Konjunkturtest eine Zunahme der Auftragseingänge und der Produktionstätigkeit. Die Konjunkturerholung geht von den USA und Asien aus, wo die Inlandsnachfrage boomt. Die positiven Impulse der Weltwirtschaft werden auch auf Europa übertragen, allerdings werden sie durch die Aufwertung des Euro erheblich abgeschwächt. In Österreich hält die Erholung in der Bauwirtschaft schon länger an als in der Industrie. Konsum und Einzelhandel entwickelten sich in den Sommermonaten hingegen schwach. Die Konjunkturerholung schlägt sich noch nicht auf dem Arbeitsmarkt nieder, die Zahl der Arbeitslosen steigt weiterhin merklich.
