Bundesvoranschlag 2002 vom Ziel des "Nulldefizits" geprägt

Abstract

Die österreichische Budgetpolitik strebt für den Gesamtstaat im Jahre 2002 einen ausgeglichenen Haushalt an. Der vorläufige Erfolg für 2000 zeigt, dass der Bund seine Ziele eingehalten hat. Er weist einen Abgang von 1,4% des BIP aus – deutlich weniger, als im Voranschlag angenommen wurde. Unter Berücksichtigung der Überschüsse der Länder lag das Defizit des Gesamtstaates im Jahr 2000 bei 1,1% des BIP. Der Bundesvoranschlag 2002 sieht einen Abgang (gemäß den Kriterien der VGR) von 0,7% des BIP vor. Einschließlich des mit den Ländern vereinbarten Überschusses würde damit der ausgeglichene Haushalt erreicht. Die angestrebten Einsparungen sowohl im Bereich der Aufwendungen für Leistungen als auch in den Transfers dürften realisiert werden.
