Anzeichen für Stabilisierung der Industriekonjunktur, Rückgang der Arbeitslosigkeit

Die Ergebnisse des WIFO-Konjunkturtests vom April lassen auf eine Stabilisierung der Unternehmererwartungen in der Industrie schließen. Der Export entwickelte sich zwar zum Jahreswechsel schwach, dennoch kamen aus dem Ausland zuletzt einige positive Signale für die Konjunktur. Die Inlandsnachfrage stabilisiert den Wirtschaftsgang. Dazu tragen kräftige Beschäftigungszuwächse, höhere Lohnabschlüsse, weitgehende Preisstabilität und eine gute Entwicklung im Tourismus bei. Im Frühjahr ging die Arbeitslosigkeit im Vergleich zum Vorjahr merklich zurück.
