Abstract

Der jüngste WIFO-Konjunkturtest läßt zur Zeit keine weitere Beschleunigung der Industriekonjunktur erwarten. Die Unternehmen schätzen künftige Produktionsmöglichkeiten und aktuelle Geschäftslage etwas zurückhaltender ein als zuletzt. Die internationalen Rahmenbedingungen für den Export bleiben allerdings günstig. Die deutsche Industriekonjunktur belebt sich weiter, die Wechselkursentwicklung verbessert die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit. Hingegen hält die Schwäche der Binnennachfrage in Einzelhandel, Bauwirtschaft und Inlandstourismus an. Das Wirtschaftswachstum reicht nicht für eine Entspannung auf dem Arbeitsmarkt aus.
