Das Problem des Tanktourismus

Abstract

Kraftfahrer können internationale Treibstoffpreisdifferenzen leicht nutzen, indem sie ihre Fahrzeuge entweder vor oder nach dem Grenzübertritt auftanken. Größere Preisdifferenzen lösen zusätzlich zu dem bereits sehr intensiven "normalen" Kfz-Verkehr zwischen Österreich und seinen Nachbarstaaten einen "Tanktourismus" aus. Für ein Treibstoffhochpreisland bringt dieser nicht nur mehr Direktimporte an Treibstoff, sondern auch Kaufkraftabflüsse in vielen Waren- und Dienstleistungsbereichen.
