Prognose für 1994 und 1995. Wirtschaftswachstum stoppt Anstieg der Arbeitslosigkeit

Abstract

Die Aussichten für die österreichische Wirtschaft sind günstig. Das Brutto-Inlandsprodukt expandiert 1994 um 2½% und 1995 um 3%. Dieses Wirtschaftswachstum wird eine kräftige Ausweitung der Beschäftigung ermöglichen und den Anstieg der Arbeitslosigkeit zumindest stoppen. Gleichzeitig sinkt die Inflationsrate vor allem infolge des EU-Beitritts 1995 auf 2,2%. Auf der negativen Seite der wirtschaftlichen Bilanz stehen ein steigendes Budget- und Leistungsbilanzdefizit sowie schwache Ergebnisse im Tourismus.
