Schätzung einer datenkonformen Konsumfunktion für nichtdauerhafte Konsumgüter und Dienstleistungen

Abstract

Die Ausgaben für nichtdauerhafte Konsumgüter und Dienstleistungen machen in Österreich rund 90% der Ausgaben der privaten Haushalte aus. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird eine Konsumfunktion für diese Ausgaben geschätzt, welche die in den Daten enthaltene Information optimal nutzt. Das dazu gestaltete Fehlerkorrekturmodell ist eine dateninduzierte, sparsame Spezifikation, in der sowohl Differenzen der Variablen als auch Quoten in Niveaus Verwendung finden: Die Differenzen erfassen die kurzfristigen Reaktionen der Konsumausgaben auf Änderungen von Einkommen, Vermögen und Inflation, die Quote (Fehlerkorrekturmechanismus) gibt die Abweichungen vom langfristigen Gleichgewicht wieder.
