Versicherungswirtschaft expandiert wieder. Die österreichische Privatversicherungswirtschaft 1991/92

Abstract

Trotz des einsetzenden Konjunkturabschwungs konnte die österreichische Privatversicherungswirtschaft das Wachstum des Prämienaufkommens 1991 und 1992 beschleunigen. In der Lebensversicherung stagnierte 1991 das Prämienvolumen, erst 1992 wurde eine deutliche Verbesserung erzielt. Die kräftige Ausweitung der Versicherungsleistungen bedeutete 1991 in der Krankenversicherung sowie den Schaden- und Unfallsparten eine beträchtliche Zunahme der Schadenquoten. Die Prämientarife stiegen stärker als der Verbraucherpreisindex. In der Zusammensetzung der Kapitalanlagen hielt die Tendenz zu Wertpapieren als dominierender Anlageform an, der gegenläufige Trend sinkender Anteile der Darlehen kam 1991 zum Stillstand. Das überdurchschnittliche Wachstum der Netto-Vermögenserträge erhöhte deren Anteil an den Bruttoprämien auf ein Fünftel.
